This is a serious piece of development work. The aim is to stream audio to mobile phones using a mobile website. Broadly, the site will provide traffic information to travellers. The content is updated at least every five minutes.

I've considered two options

1) Streaming which would be ideal
2) Chunks of 5 minute mp3 files

I'd be grateful even if you don't know the answer but can quote a source or provide links.
