I'm looking for a new phone, because my phone now is old, and it keeps freezing on me.
So we was just going to switch it over to my boyfriends old metropcs phone but I don't want a flip phone, I want a newer phone.
So I was wondering if all prepaid phones have sim cards because metropcs can't unlock phones that have sim cards because that's just not how their system works.
So is there any prepaid cell phone without a sim card? If so, can you tell me which ones or service brands?

I've heard rumors that you can buy a prepaid cell phone (which are generally a lot cheaper and don't require contract extensions) and use it if you have a regular cell phone agreement. Is this true? I'd like to save money and not sign away the next 2 years of my life to get a working phone (mine broke last night 
), but don't want to waste money if it's not true.
Any ideas?
